The awkward girl from the morgue arrives...

...well not really, but that's who I mostly identify with in the Sherlock series. Well, to be honest, I would be a mix between Molly Hooper and John Watson, but since Watson is Watson I went for Molly. And I would really love to work - maybe not at a morgue - but as a lab assistant. I'm that kind of slightly introvert nerd who likes finding out things.

I'm a 35 years old female Sherlockfan (is that even possible? apparantly...) living in Sweden. Love the BBC series and have read some of the original ones.

Well, enough about me, lets dig into what really is interesting - Sherlock! The series! YAY!

Thank you Harriet!! I love forums, it's like sitting with some friends chatting about the things you love most over a cup o' tea. So, cheers! *raises my tea cup*

I´m also of the same age. Welcome on the forum, Molly and have a good time.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

I've always wanted to be a pathologist and work at a morgue

Hej hej! Have fun here...do you say Skål when drinking tea?

Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.

HAHAH! No, certainly not. But when I'm drinking liquor or wine, I might. Not that happens that often...

You know what? I would like that too, honestly. I've never feared the dead. But that would require med school and several years of studies, and I sadly don't have the energy for that. Oh well

Re: The awkward girl from the morgue arrives...

Hi and welcome to the forum! I've turned 33 about two weeks ago and discovered the BBC Sherlock series in summer this year. You will find out that many of the forum members have medical-associated occupations - like me (I'm a medical documentalist). So it's not quite unsusal to have a desire to medicine. What is your profession?

Yeah, I thought the same. And then I ended studying veterinary medicine which is even tougher than human medicine. Oh well
