Discovered by way of a fan video.

And I am in love with this acapella version of  I See Fire from THDOS

*gasp*  Ok, I swear, no joke, that I was just about to post these (especially the first one, eventhough I love the second one too) as my obsessive songs of the moment! That is so weird, and kinda cool!

We are obviously long lost soul sisters Solar.

This afternoon I listened to Somebody to Die For about a dozen times in a row while working on the computer.  It's almost overwhelming.

Today, I just heard this amazing, incredible, and beautiful cover of Into The West by Peter Hollens...and I literally cannot stop listening to it! I honestly didn't think anyone could do a song I already love justice, but he did...made me teary too :')

Yep. Exactly

Still love this song, it's so emotional, and... as contrast this one, which is fun.

Peter Hollens is amazing.

Had the great pleasure of seeing The Book of Mormon this week so now I have all the songs from it running through my head!

I recently got into the TV show Supernatural, so I'm loving Carry On Wayward Son by Kansas ^^ It plays during the opening montage of every season finale and it's great

Re: My obssessive song(s) of the moment

At the moment, I'm rather smitten with Maxïmo Park's latest album and some of the songs thereon, especially "Drinking Martinis", "Lydia, The Ink Will Never Dry" and "Leave This Island", as well as some of MP's older songs like "Hips and Lips" and "Write This Down". I wished I could turn back time and see their show again. Post-concert blues sucks.

Right now I'm listening to the 'Game of Thrones' soundtracks.  The tracks range from rustic, powerful, ethereal and otherworldly, and perfectly capture the essence of the show.

One of my all time favourites, not only this moment The lyrics are just ...
And it also always makes me a little bit sad, because I listened to it a lot before and after my father died.

Re: My obssessive song(s) of the moment

Right now I'm quite obsessed with a few songs, or bands... some of them are Hero with Family of the Year, Sing with Ed Sheeran, You with The 1975, Sigh No More with Mumford & Sons and Super Soaker with Kings Of Leon. Add some songs from all these bands and that's pretty much what I listen to
