Well.... who's seen The Red Wedding in Game of Thrones?

Yes, yes you can.

Yeah, well, I think you can't exactly compare Game of Thrones with Sherlock  .

Not at all, meaning that they are two very different series, but I was just replying to the question of whether you can or cannot kill a pregnant woman on telly

Pregnant women die all the time in old stories and fairytales because it used to be the number one cause of death amongst women.  Pregnancy complications still result in nearly 300k deaths a year.  A good family friend's wife died in childbirth about 20 years ago.

It would be really, really strange if tv shows couldn't depict a pregnant woman dying or being killed.

Re: John's "new" arrival

Agree. I think, killing a baby in cold blood would be different. But a pregnant lady - yes.

Re: John's "new" arrival

Between Game of Thrones and Walking Dead I think you can pretty much kill whoever you want.

Yes, yes you can.

E.R. did it like ten years ago. So, yes.

Re: John's "new" arrival

I think Mary and the child will die separately. I think she'll have a miscarriage, then die later in the episode in dramatic fashion.

Re: John's "new" arrival

^^ Note the way Sherlock has reduced us to so casually discussing death. LOL

Re: John's "new" arrival

Just you, dear.
Only joking, ha!
I have mixed feelings about this.
I do worry the way some casually talk about death.
Bu then these are just fictional characters.
I am worried I'll sob over whoever we are going to lose on Sunday.
But I'm actually more concerned about the boys and their relationship.
