Bertie Carvel
Gutted I could not justify the ticket price to see Andrew Scott, in Vanya.
So instead, my pal and I opted for Bertie C in Pygmalion.
Love this play and Bertie was great.
If any of you have suffered a memory lapse...
Bertie plays Sebastian, in The Blind Banker.

He was in some big TV series a few years ago, wasn't he? Then haven't heard of him since, not that I keep up to date with TV goings on. Maybe he is doing more stage work. I remember he starred in Matilda the musical several years ago.

Well, I just looked him up and of course he has been doing lots of TV work. I just don't watch a lot of TV so have missed it.
I did notice that he was the voice of the male Imperial Agent in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic! I can't remember if I knew it was him or not but played that game and loved the voice acting in that part - it was a lot of fun!
