What DID happen to the spare body?

Is it actually in Emelia Ricoletti's grave? It could be. I mean, they didn't actually go there and dig it up in reality.

Re: What DID happen to the spare body?

Dissolved in the acid?

Placed among other unclaimed bodies in the public mortuary? In Victorian Era, many such bodies were being found in the streets and publicly displayed in mortuaries, so that the relatives of a missing person could go there and find the body eventually... some bodies remained unclaimed, though and were probably placed into some mass graves....

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?
