Why?

If Sherlock deletes all unnecessary data from his hard drive, why in the world would he know the airline schedule for the week? 
Granted, John gave him the info needed with "double O seven" with the Bond night they had.

Apparently, the airline schedule wasn't considered unnecessary. So was "the new Breitling" in TBB and Mr. Chatterjee's two wives in Doncaster and Islamabad in THOB.
To quote Mrs Hudson:
